Our parents are our heroes. We can never deny the role and value of parents in our life. The following essay discusses the importance, role, love, and sacrifices of parents for children.
Life without parents is the worst life ever. Parents are support and shade for us. The value of parents in our lives can never be ignored. They play a very great role in our lives.
They protect us and give every sacrifice to make us happy and pleased. Parents are our true guardians. They are the real reasons for our success and happiness in this world.
I Love my Parents
I love my parents. They are standing beside me in my every walk of life. My hero is my mom. She wakes up early in the morning.
She works for our family from dawn to dusk. She is the best house manager. She takes care of everything in our house.
As soon she wakes up, she starts thinking about ourselves. She runs to the kitchen. She prepares a tasty breakfast for us. Her breakfast is always delicious. She takes great care in making the food of our choice. After making our tasty breakfast, my mother quickly fills up our lunch boxes with tasty food.
She always fills our lunch boxes with additional tasty food so that we can share that with our friends. I really appreciate my parents and especially my mom.
The Role of Mother & Father in our Life
The love of a mother is simply matchless. Soon after we come home after school is up, we always find our mother standing at the gate of our house. We feel very pleased and my mother hugs all of us.
She takes great care of our health. She regularly consults with our family doctor so that we stay healthy and strong. in addition to housework, my mother also helps us with our school homework. She is best at drawing. She drawing fancy pictures, portraits, and cartoons. We all feel wonderful at her drawing skills.
My hero is my dad. The father is always considered as an unsung hero. But it is not the fact. In addition to mother, the value, role, and responsibility of the father are always prideful. We all greatly love our father. My father is an Engineer. Though he is always busy in his schedule yet he takes good care of all of us.
We all family members go to weekly dinner and sightseeing outside. In addition to that, during our summer vacation we all family members go on a countryside trip.
We all enjoy a lot there. My father is always concerned about everything about us. Though he is busy in his job yet he always remembers everything about us.
The love of parents for their children is of great value. Had there been no support of parents we would not have been here. We would not have smiled, laughed, and became successful. Therefore, we must appreciate our parents for so many reasons.
When anyone asks me, whom I may identify a hero, I don’t bear in mind Gandhi or Mom Theresa, as a result of I believe that it’s my mom and my father. My dad and mom should not be identified all around the globe; they didn’t change the world, however they determined to alter their very own life by giving delivery to me, they’ve been an entire universe for me and I believe it’s not much less essential than turn into the primary man on the moon, for instance. I may truthfully say that rising up such an individual, as I, was not an easy job.
Heroes are at all times courageous. I didn’t meet an individual, who shall be braver, than my dad and mom. Simply think about: from the second your little one will make his first cry – you aren’t free anymore. Your schedule, principally your profession will, your plans shall be based mostly on the wants of your little one.
I’m fairly certain that the choice to have a child change your complete life. I didn’t know what’s to be an undesirable child, regardless of being pregnant with my mom was surprised. Once I turn into older I’ve understood how courageous my dad and mom were when determined to have a child, and it evokes me.
Heroes are at all times an exemplar, they educate us on what “good” and “evil” means. I believe that a crucial instance you’ll get if you’ll watch over your dad and mom. My dad and mom taught me easy methods to be in a very good temper even for those who drained or have issues, easy methods to deal with their associates and what the phrase “friendship” means, easy methods to keep a very good environment within the household, and I hope that my household would be identical. I’m certain that actual heroes should not these, who saved the world in a film or comics, however that one, whom daily make just a little miracle for his or her nearest and dearest.
Example #3 – Thoughts on the Parental Responsibility Act
Eighteen cases, in 1990, resulted in a parent serving time in jail for crimes committed by his or her child. In my opinion, I feel that parents should not be held responsible if his or her child commits a crime. There are a couple of reasons why I feel this is not a good law. First, I believe no parent can keep track of their son or daughter 24 hours a day. In the real world, parents have far more to do than to monitor their child every minute of the day to make sure he or she is not breaking the law of some sort.
Parents are an important role in a child’s life but they also have to meet the demands of going to work, attending the house, and to have free moments of relaxation. Besides this, an adolescent does not want a nagging parent to know every detail and thought of what they are doing, with whom, why, when, and where.
Secondly, I feel that by setting the law that parents serve the time for their child’s actions go against a valuable lesson that is taught to a youngster from when they were young. When I was growing up, I remember to this day that you are supposed to take responsibility for your actions.
Parental responsibility law goes against this valuable teaching. This law does not teach the adolescent that as becoming an adult they have to accept certain responsibilities. Instead, it shows that the blame can be shifted to the not guilty person. Most adolescents today that I have seen want to be adults by the way they dress, talk, and act.
If they want to be treated like adults then should be able to handle to take responsibility if they made the wrong choice and broke the law. Another point is some teenagers might commit a crime to spite their parents whatever the reason may be.
I also feel that such a law would raise a whole set of problems. Most parents would be in jail, because most adolescents do in fact break the law in some way, whether it be underage drinking or trespassing. Adolescents would have to be raised by a relative and go against the ideas of being a good parent that this law aims for. A good parent is always there and is not supposed to be in jail having someone else raise their child.
I do not think this law would work in Worcester, Massachusetts. As I mentioned above adolescents will use this law to their advantage. There is no question in my mind that most adolescents from when I was growing up, to last year that I worked with from the Willis program would make demands on their parents.
If such demands are denied, the youth could then turn the tables so they have the control to threaten the parent of being thrown behind bars. If an adolescent is stubborn and desperate enough they will do this.
Another reason why this would not work is that I am sure alot of parents would fight such a law. Instead of the adolescent youth of being afraid of parental punishment and control, the tables will be turned and roles would be reversed.
In conclusion, I feel the parental responsibility law is not a good law. This law does not teach the adolescent to take responsibility for his or her actions. Instead, the parents have to serve the time for the law they broke. I also believe this law would make parents fear their child, with such power of placing a parent in jail by their actions in their hands.
Example #4 – The Influences That Parents Have On Their Children
The Influences That Parents Have On Their Children Influence is a word that can explain many things in today?s world. Influence explains why people do the things they do. A child’s influence on how he/she perceives life will stay with them for the rest of his/her life. But a more important question to ask is where does that influence come. Does it come from the parents of that child or does it come from that child?s peer group. Although children are influenced by the outside world, ultimately a child learns right from wrong, good from bad, love, and caring from their parents.
I hope to prove to you, the reader, that influence, does in fact, come from the parents more than what people think. First, we must talk about the influence that comes genetically. The parent’s DNA already have influenced a child from birth. The child can be shy, outgoing, perceptive, or absent-minded, but those characteristics will be shown later in the child?s lifetime. If you look at a family, you can tell what types of characteristics the children have.
Then you can ask the parents who in their family have those same traits. I am sure that the parents can think of someone in their family, if not themself, to answer that question. What about the influence a child receives after birth, if any, from their parents. Right after birth takes place, the mother typically shows the child love by holding the baby, kissing it, singing it to bed, etc. Showing a child love from the day the child is born and continuously throughout childhood, will have a better positive effect on the child later in their own life.
Judith Rich Harris, in her book “The Nurture Assumption: Why Children Turn Out the Way They Do; Parents Matter Less The You Think and Peers Matter More? believes that the love a parent gives has no effect on the child later in life. So far, to this day, studies show that if a parent shows love and support towards their child, that child becomes less aggressive says John Gottman of the University of Washington. To quote Rosie O’Donnell in the Newsweek article, The Parent Trap, of September 7, 1998 on page 58, ‘You’re born with a personality that?s defined by the tenderness, love, support, and care you ‘regive.’ She also goes on to say, “Children could just be born and put in daycare and become who they are.
But that negates the value of love.’ O’Donnell believes that the love a parent gives to their child is the foundation of that child?s personality. Her thoughts along with other scientists, parents, and young adults around the world suggest that parents do influence the children of today. Another influence that parents have on their children is the teaching of right from wrong. Parents teach their kids that stealing is bad or hurting another person is wrong. Parents also teach their children that helping another person is the right thing to do. It is from this concept, that children develop a more in-depth consciousness.
If a person of any age does something wrong or thinks about doing something wrong (i.e. stealing), that person will think of the consequences that go along with that crime. Most people won’t commit the crime because their parents influenced them that stealing is bad. Some people will go commit the crime, but if you ask the thief of what their childhood was like, they would probably say that they had no parents to guide them. So that would lead to society bringing up a child to fend for himself. Another influence that parents give their children is the distinction between good and bad. This is somewhat similar to the right from wrong; it is just a little different.
There are no severe consequences that come along with these actions. A parent will praise their child for obtaining good grades in school or doing chores around the house. Some parents, in order to teach children good things, will give rewards (i.e. money, toys, etc.) for any action to the child as long as that action is good. A parent might punish a child for doing something bad, such as getting a bad grade in school or coming home late at night. A parent will do this to help the child understand what they did was wrong and not to do it again. Parents try to teach their children what they should be doing later in life. Parents give their children guidance and prepare them for adulthood. Some people will argue against that point. People might argue that children entering young adulthood make choices due to their friends and/or society.
At this point in a child’s life, there are many choices that one must make. Who to be friends with; How do I dress today”; Do I find myself attracted to that boy/girl? A child will base their answers on what they feel. That child?s parents have helped them gain knowledge in all those areas whether it was subliminal or not. Other peers might influence a child to a certain extent, but those peers cannot change what a parent has taught for the past 10 years or more.
Once that child becomes an adult, he/she will understand then why parents have done the things they have. The parents have done these things to set values their child’s life and have those values continue on through adulthood.
Michael Jordan describes this best by saying, I know that no one has had a greater impact on me than my parents. Their ethics and morals are my ethics and morals. It’s funny, but you don’t realize how much they mold you until you get older and begin to see them in the things that you do” (Newsweek, 9/7/98, p.58) Parents will have an everlasting effect on their children no matter what.
If the parent was good then the child will turn out to be a good adult. If the parent is bad, probably the child will turn out to be just like their parents but you never known. Maybe society had a positive effect on that child?s life. All a person can say is that what a parent does to influence a child will never be forgotten.
Example #5 – The Importance Of Parents For Parents
Over the past few years, children are now being born into a household with parents who just are not fit for parenting. Being a parent is a big responsibility and requires responsible adult beings who know what they’re doing. Today’s society is becoming ¨sloppy¨ when it comes to having children.
When you have young adults who are not aware of what it takes to be a parent, you end up with a family that´s not together. With licenses put in place, all of the malfunctions that go on in a corrupt household could be eliminated. The license could slow up the increasing rate of hungry children, and families suffering from poverty issues. Having parents with a license for producing children is a smart idea due to the fact that most black communities, …
The child could possibly grow up with fears, an unpleasant childhood, and no clue on what it means to “breathe.” This is where some parents go wrong. They believe that if I as a parent do this, then my child most definitely won ‘t do this, this is called smothering your child.
When you do this, it limits your child ‘s physical and social activities. When you “smother” your child, it is more likely for them to wonder what it ‘s like to do whatever it is that you suggested them not to do. They end up doing it anyway because you kept it away from them. You have to understand a child ‘s mind and how it works, meaning you want to be hard on your child, but not to the point where they can ‘t do many things but then end up doing it…

The National Child Abuse states that “Every year there are more than 3 million reports of child abuse made in the United States involving more than 6 million children losing on average of 4 to 7 kids a day.” CDC/Kaiser Permanente Adverse Childhood Experiences studies recorded that 28.8% of children suffer from physical abuse, 20.7% of children from sexual abuse, and 14.8% of children suffer from emotional neglect. This is to say that many children across the globe are suffering from parents who could care less about them, hurt them, and for the most part care less about them and there do about.
With the license in place, parents who intend on having children could be watched over, which could help decrease the increasing number of children who are suffering from neglect and abuse. In fact, Safe Horizon Inc. studies state that ¨Abuse victims are more likely to exhibit antisocial behaviors including borderline personality disorders and violent behaviors. Child physical abuse can result in the
