To show the validity of the statement, there is a need to understand what it takes to undertake each of the two actions that are carrying out the actions and speaking the words. The underlying factor is commitment. Words are easy to come out and it really does not take a lot of effort to speak.
It is common to hear people lying over the phone of being in one place while they are in a different place. It is worth noting that words can be easily manipulated to fit in a given situation. As a matter of fact, words have become a means of self-expression that people use to define themselves in a way that they see fit. It is almost impossible for somebody to speak badly about him/herself.
By using words it becomes very easy for one to define oneself in a way that appeals to everybody. Therefore the argument being made here is that words can be easily manipulated to fit to depict a person in a given way and by the fact that nobody wants to appear strange then there is a tendency for words to be used to depict what actually might not be true.
On the other hand, actions are taxing and demanding and cannot be carried out without good consideration. For a person to get involved in an action he/she has to be sure of the results. Actions require commitment as most of them require time and at times money. The implication obtained is that for one to swing into action time and money will likely be used.
It is common knowledge that even millionaires do not just waste their time or spend their money in anyhow manner. Consideration has to be made before one engages resources in actions. It is worth noting that the inner motive is the one that will push a person to take an action. Unlike words that can just be spoken without much care, actions are only carried out when there is an inner motive to carry the action out. One can only take an action when it is truly his/her wish to do that.
The above argument brings to light the fact that words can just be spoken without much consideration as it does not cost much to speak. Words are also a quick means of self-expression especially in ways that one wishes to be known and therefore words are prone to be misused.
Undertaking actions requires considerations to be put into place. Actions cannot be used just in the same way as words. Actions require commitment and can only be undertaken if a person really sees a need in undertaking them that is one carries out a given action which he/she identifies with. Therefore it is true as the statement: action speaks louder than words.
Have you ever said one thing and then do another? Have you noticed that your actions can impact louder than your words? Sometimes you don’t even have to say anything to impact someone. Don’t bite your tongue until you look before you leap.
Don’t you just hate it when people break their promises, or when they tell you something really important and then turn around and do something totally opposite of what they said? I don’t know about you, but I hate that. Religion to me should be taken seriously.
Some people act as if God is their savior and pretend to pray for those in need and then turn around and do things only God himself would know about. Your actions to me are like promises. If you’re not sure about something ask someone else or don’t say anything at all. Finding out someone close to you just totally stabbed you in the back doesn’t feel good. One face is better than two!
Sometimes you can impact someone without even saying anything. The way you act can send out either a positive or negative message. Not everything can always come out positive. When you give someone a first impression body language you send back to that person is the way they will act towards you. A look of disgust will get you an attitude of hatred and disrespect, but a look of open arms and maturity will get you an attitude of respect and trust.
Examples to me are the highlights of cliches. When I say actions speak louder than words just stop and think about it. For example in asb/leadership, some of us had an idea of raising donations for the American Red Cross for the tragedies in New York to know one even said anything when they brought up checks and bills for $20.00, they didn’t have to say anything it’s the money they gave and how they reacted.

It broadcasts the utterer’s true feelings and intentions and typically never fails to do so. Nonverbal communications transfer various things. It regulates spoken conversation and gives feedback to the narrator; it is the foundation of relationships and tells about the truthfulness of a statement. It modifies what was said in words in various ways. Body language cues have five major roles.
The first is repetition. It repeats what the person said verbally, such as smiling while talking about how happy an event made them feel. The second is contradicting. One can contradict what they are trying to convey by giving an opposite message with their bodily gestures. An example would be making a face of disgust while complementing an outfit. Substitution is another form of body language that plays a big role in any interaction.
The proverb that I am going to analyze is “Actions speak louder than words”. Nowadays, people do not pay attention when someone is talking, unless you have a good impression on them. Have you thought about that? I think that the reason was that words might have been changed; we say something and through some time we change it. That’s why I think that actions have a bigger value.
This proverb basically means that what you do is more important then what you say; for example just because I say I will contribute to charity don’t mean anything; until I really contribute to charity in that way by proving my words. First of all, people say things and make promises on which they have no enthusiasm to do.
You can tell someone you love him or her as many times as you want, but until your behavior would not be based on that, the other person will probably not believe you. Some feelings cannot be definite by using simple words; they need actions to speak for them. Words are cheap, anyone can tell anything, but they will not feel it’s the truthfulness of these emotions until they are acted upon. “Nevertheless, since words may sometimes be misleading, it is our actions that end up betraying our true nature.”
In conclusion, we can notice that actions are an excellent way to make people believe you. By using words you can persuade people, but it wouldn’t be effective as actions. So, even your speech would be good as Barack Obama’s, anyway, you need actions to suggest your words. Furthermore; words don’t have the effect that actions do on people.
Words are easier to forget, while actions can be forgotten that easy; actions would last forever if they had a great impression on us. It is also impossible to show people how truthful your words are without evident action. For example; when you say ‘I missed you’ to a friend, and you haven’t even bothered yourself to pick up the phone to know how he/she was doing, then obviously these words are just lies.
Hence, actions are more realistic when it comes to expressing our emotions. Actions prove who is who in a real case, while words only show what someone wants to be. Also, every person could say whatever he or she wants. To put it all in a nutshell, actions are the optimum way to make people believe you. Words could be a method to convey messages, but it’s not as efficient as actions.
Sometimes my actions speak louder than my words and sometimes my words speak louder than actions…cuz there are times when all you need is a silent hug or a smile…and there are times when all you need are words…so it really depends on the moment, but whatever i do or say, i always mean it with every bit of my heart. 🙂

Some can say to a needy, “I feel pity for him,” but even water, they can’t offer.
Actions and words should be joined together, They are both important.
Still, more actions should be shown than words in this world.
