Probably, “Inglourious Basterds” is the most remarkable movie insanity I’ve ever seen! I’m not going to sing the praises of a fantastic soundtrack, brain-twisting scenes and dialogues incredible in their simplicity and identity.

I’m going to say that “Inglourious Basterds” is a movie-toy for adults! It’s bright. It’s captivating. You cannot help smiling while watching it. You don’t get it seriously. Meanwhile, on-screen you see blood, scalp, swearing, screaming…

You don’t like violence? But where have you seen something like that?! It’s cinematic violence. It’s aesthetic if I can put it like this. By the way, Tarantino himself said many times that violence in real life disgusts him. But perfectly made scenes in a movie are something completely different. It’s a matter of taste, actually.

Somebody loves comedies, somebody loves dramas. “Inglourious Basterds” is a dramedy, I suppose. But it’s always hard to define the genre Tarantino works in. It’s rather that he has a genre of his own. He invented a kind of movie that many copycats are desperately trying to imitate. Here we have a movie about guys who brutally kill Nazis. But they do it with such a charm and humour that it fills you with wonder.

“Inglourious Basterds” is so ironic and funny! Finally, Tarantino made something comparable to “Pulp Fiction”. And how about the technical side? It’s just perfect! Have you seen the camera? It works for the actors covering all their mistakes! Some effects are old and well-known. But altogether it works!

All in all, “Inglourious Basterds” gave me 0% of frustration. I expected something nice but not as huge as it is! I’m repeating it’s a toy you want to play with again and again!
