What is a dangerous sport? A dangerous sport is a sport where selfish people isolate themselves to make it as treacherous and as risky for them to be rescued. Manpower, money, and time are constantly being wasted on people who go to the most remote and treacherous places in nature to participate in dangerous sports. And if there is an accident rescue worker have to endanger their own lives to save these people. I agree with the statement above. These people don’t need a license to practice these sports so they can’t be stopped and may need to be rescued more than once and more resources are wasted.
My main argument is that by endangering their own lives and need rescuing because they are in trouble; they endanger the lives of people who have to rescue them. These people cannot be stopped from doing these dangerous activities so they may continue needing to be rescued many times and wasting a lot of resources. For example, a man has had to be rescued 26 times at sea and the rescue services have to follow out every distress call so they can’t do anything about it, they have to help him.

My next most important reason for agreeing is that some sports have very strict rules about where it can be done. Some people break these rules. For example snowboarding; if a person decides that a slope looks more fun, but they are not allowed to snowboard on it and they try it any way they could cause an avalanche which would kill them and many people below.
People might argue that there are rules and restrictions for the practice of these sports and that they are always monitored and that it is very uncommon for things to go wrong. I disagree; a lot of the sports in question involve a person being totally isolated so they could easily break the said rules and restrictions. I agree that some of these sports can be monitored but still cannot be controlled.
In order for dangerous sports to be accepted, they must become more like conventional sports. There must be designated areas and constant monitoring of all activities. Health and safety precautions must be enforced and participants must be qualified if they want to do dangerous sports without an instructor guiding them.
